Erika Wurth reads with the Open Country Reading Series in Missoula, Montana.
The Open Country Reading Series features emerging and established writers from across the Northwest, along with local musicians and artists... "born from the idea that we should cultivate community, encourage emerging and established artists [and] showcase authentic talent."
February's reading will be filled with voices from Indian Country! We will rock out with Adam Sings in the Timber (Crow) and his band, and hear poetry from M.L. Smoker (Assiniboine Sioux), Emmy Award winner and author of Another Attempt at Rescue, and Heather Cahoon (Pend d’Oreille), author of Elk Thirst. We will also hear from Erika Wurth (Apache/Chickasaw/Cherokee), who will read from her new novel, Crazy Horse's Girlfriend.
