Happy BEA! We're hosting an offsite cocktail party on Thursday, May 12, from 7 - 9 pm at Tack Room (1227 W 18th St., Chicago). Tack Room is attached to the Michelin star-rated restaurant Dusek's and concert venue Thalia Hall in the historic Pilsen neighborhood, just a short train ride from downtown Chicago.

The cocktail party is to celebrate a forthcoming Curbside Splendor book called Cocktails for Ding Dongs. It's an illustrated book of recipes that aims to dissolve the high culture of classic craft cocktails. This recipe book was written by the celebrated Chicago bartender Dustin Drankiewicz and illustrated by Alexandra Ensign.
