Keith Lesmeister will be reading at Curbside Books & Records along with Ben Tanzer and Toni Nealie!

Keith Lesmeister is the author of We Could’ve Been Happy Here, a collection of stories forthcoming spring 2017 (MG Press). His fiction has appeared in American Short Fiction, Gettysburg Review, Harpur Palate, Meridian, Redivider, Slice Magazine, and many others. His nonfiction has appeared in River Teeth, The Good Men Project, Tin House Open Bar, Water~Stone Review, and elsewhere. He received his M.F.A. from the Bennington Writing Seminars. He currently teaches at Northeast Iowa Community College.

Ben Tanzer is the daddy-cool author of many, many books, an Emmy-award winner, for writing Public Service Announcements anyway, oversees the lifestyle empire This Blog Will Change Your Life, and frequently speaks on the topics of messaging, framing, social media, blogging, fiction, essay writing and independent publishing. He recently released Be Cool (Dock Street Press). He can be found online at tanzerben.com. 

Toni Nealie is the author of The Miles Between Me, an essay collection about homeland, dispersal, heritage and family, published by Curbside Splendor. Recent essays have appeared in Guernica, The Prague Review, The Offing and The Rumpus. Her essay "The Displeasure of the Table" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Originally from New Zealand, she holds an MFA from Columbia College Chicago. She teaches and writes in Chicago, where she is Literary Editor of Newcity.
