The "Neighborhood Food Drive" Kickstarter

Halle Butler, author of Jillian has been working with Chicago-based filmmaker Jerzy Rose on a new project: Neighborhood Food Drive, an "anxiety-ridden film about two egomaniacal restaurateurs descending into a nightmare world with their unpaid intern." Rose's first film, Some Girls Never Learn, won the Chicago Underground Film Festival's Audience Award and Made in Chicago award.

Halle has co-written and produced two films with Rose: Crimes Against Humanity, winner of Best Feature at the 2014 Boston Underground Film Festival and a Special Jury prize for Best Ensemble Cast at the 2014 Florida Film Festival; and En Plein Air, which premiered at the 2014 Telluride Film Festival.

The campaign has currently raised over $8,000, with 17 more days to reach its goal of $14,000. You can view and help fund the project through their Kickstarter page. Some of the backer rewards include a 3-month Fandor subscription, limited prints and posters, LP bundles, signed copies of Jillian, a collection of Rose's films, and much more!
