Book Fort Fair at Curbside Books & Records — November 19

On November 19, Book Fort hosts the bi-annual Book Fort Fair at Curbside Books & Records in Revival Food Hall. Join us for an afternoon of bookselling, mingling, and drinking!

Saturday, November 19
11 am - 4 pm
Curbside Books & Records (in Revival Food Hall)
125 S Clark St, Chicago

The Book Fort Fair will host 20+ indie publishers, record labels, and literary organizations, plus an all-day DJ, literary-themed cocktails, a screenprinting workshop, a button making station hosted by Busy Beaver, and live typewriter poetry courtesy of Poems While You Wait. Phew, what a lineup! And admission is free!

A partial list of participating organizations: Curbside Splendor, Allium Press, 7Vientos, Featherproof Books, Poetry Foundation, Soberscove Press, 826Chi, Rose Metal Press, Belt Publishing, Lake Claremont Press, The Point magazine, Tortoise Books, Poems While You Wait, Busy Beaver, Read Write Library, and Midwestern Gothic.

Book Fort is a wandering book fair that takes places each year at a handful of festivals. We're interested in the intersection of literature, music, and performance, and we seek to create meaningful interactions between communities, independent publishers, and literary organizations.

See you there!
